This image is from the movie Once Upon a Time in Tibet, the first feature film in which I die. I am a concentration camp fugitive who escapes to Tibet where I accidentally kill someone, and I am chased until in this scene, where I am stealing food at night, I am hunted and have to run up the mountain -filming the scene at 4000 meters altitude, almost impossible to breathe running- until they shoot  me. But before I die in the mountains I tell my story to an American pilot wandering around looking for his lost Tibetan lover.

a thriller-love story 悬疑爱情故事

Script full length movie (Englisn and Chinese)- 115 min.

A rustic Chinese girl arrives Shenzhen on the eve of the wedding of her best girlfriend who is kidnapped for a gang of foreigner criminals that now chase after the newcomer girl believing that she is the courier coming with the money that the suddenly vanished bridegroom owes to them. The story happens in only one thrilling night that will change their lives.

Black Shine is a thriller plot with lots of action, but the real mystery is around the secret truth of each one of the characters, and the real action is the change that happens inside themselves according to unexpected situations and people they have to face in only one night, pushing them to confront their inner fears. 

The story is a cross of love, friendship, young dreams and personal improvement in the fast changing China today. Although some scenes are located in Hong Kong it is not necessary shooting there. The story can be shot in Shenzhen, and most of the outdoors scenes can be shots by nights.
